Global NY Export Promotion Tour Comes to the Hudson Valley: Orange County Partnership Encourages Local Manufacturers to Attend
The Orange County Partnership is encouraging international manufacturers in Orange County to attend an upcoming event hosted by Empire State Development (ESD) as part of its Global NY Export Promotion Tour, taking place on Thursday, September 4th, from 7:30AM – 12:30 PM at the DoubleTree by Hilton Poughkeepsie, 40 Civic Center Plaza, Poughkeepsie, NY.
Global NY, the international division of ESD, offers a suite of programs designed to help New York State businesses enter or expand their presence in the global marketplace. The Export Promotion Tour will bring Global NY’s international representatives from across the globe to ten regions of New York State from September 3rd to 11th, and the Hudson Valley is a key stop.
Representatives from Global NY’s foreign offices in Africa, Australia, Canada, the Caribbean, China, Europe, India, Israel, Japan, Mexico, the Middle East, Singapore, South America, South Korea, and Taiwan will be on-site to present on export opportunities and trends in their respective regions. Attendees will hear a full overview of Global NY’s export funding programs and have the opportunity to ask questions directly to these international market experts.
After the presentations, one-on-one consultations with the foreign office representatives will be available to companies that pre-register and receive a confirmed time slot, based on alignment with Global NY’s programs.
While the event is open to all, space is limited, and registration is required.
The Orange County Partnership is actively supporting ESD’s outreach efforts by helping to identify and encourage international manufacturing companies in Orange County that are currently importing/exporting — or planning to enter foreign markets — to participate in this high-value event.
